Scruton & Finghall Lane

While we complete engineering works at Leyburn we will be runnng trains from Scruton to Finghall lane via Leeming and Bedale. As both Scruton and Finghall are examples of classic railway halts and have no parking, it is suggested to start/end your journey at either Leeming Bar or Bedale, where there is both ample parking and caterng available.
Scruton station has won many awards for its recreation of a victorian rural railway station, while Finghall Lane was the setting of ‘Darrowby Station’ in the original All Creatures Great And Small TV series.
