Three return trips from Leeming to Leyburn using one of our home fleet locos, with an added run to Scruton.

Using our refurbished MK2 blue and grey stock, the first Sunday of each month will see one of our home fleet of locomotives do 3 return trips from Leeming to Leyburn, with the middle service extended to Scruton. This gives 75 miles behind an example of classic British traction (Class 37, Class 33 or Class 14). In addition, as Scruton has no run round facilities it will be included using a top and tail formation, with the second loco being something a bit special. The trains will have onboard trolley service of drinks and snacks and the time table has been developed to allow integration with the 856 bus to and from Northallerton station. Note that the trip on May 1st will not include the run to Scruton as we are holding our model railway exhibition that weekend and there will be regular shuttles to Scruton, so the run to Leyburn will be top and tailed.
