The new crossing at Wensley is now complete. The Tarmac margins have been laid and the crossing re-opened to road traffic. There are still a few minor tasks to be completed, but these are not time critical so can be done at our leisure. The first train ran over the crossing, with the 03 taking a works train from Leyburn to Redmire in association with the Harmby relay project.

At Harmby the major work of installing the concrete sleepers is also now complete, and another train off the mainline came in on wednesday with the new ballast.
