Saturday November 4th

The Bedale Bonfire and Fireworks Display takes place every year on the Saturday near to Guy Fawkes’s Night, and is renowned as one of the finest displays in Yorkshire. Located in historic Bedale Park with the imposing façade of Bedale Hall as a backdrop, residents and visitors are treated to a spectacular firework display and the warmth of the Bedale Bonfire.

This year The Wensleydale Railway will again be running a special service from Leyburn to Bedale to allow people from the west end of the dale easier access to the event. The train will arrive in Bedale in plenty of time to walk from the station to the bonfire in time for the official light up and return after the firework display has completed. All tickets are  a flat £10 return with children under 16 travelling for free when accompanied by a paying adult.
