Bedale Road, Aiskew

Bedale Station is situated a short walk from the high street of this Georgian Market Town which has a good range of shops and attractions including a small museum. Market day is Tuesday. The station is lovingly looked after by a team of volunteers and has a shop and a tea room.

 

 

Getting Here

By Car

There is limited parking at Bedale Station, however there are a number of car parks in Bedale within 5 minutes walk of the station.

Bedale Station is east of the town, on the boundary of Bedale and Aiskew.  From Northallerton, follow the A684 to the roundabout at Scruton, then take the road through Leeming Bar to Aiskew, down the hill and immediately after the gated level crossing, turn left in to the station car park

From Bedale, turn left towards Northallerton at the crossroads at the south end of the Market Place. Just before the gated level crossing turn right in to the station car park.

Bus 73

The 73 service runs between Northallerton and Bedale.

Bus 53

The 53 service runs during weekdays and Saturdays from Northallerton, (including a stop by Northallerton Railway Station) to Bedale and return

Bus 856

The 856 service runs on Sundays only from Hawes to Northallerton.

All buses stop in Bedale Market Place, 5 minute walk from Bedale Station. On leaving the bus turn right and head towards the crossroads, where you need to turn left, down the hill, follow the path round the corner and the station is on the right hand side.
