Note:
Children aged 3 to 15 travel for only £1 on our normal scheduled trains when accompanied by a paying adult (up to a maximum of 4 children per adult).
This promotional fare does not include THE POLAR EXPRESS™ Train Ride or other special events such as afternoon teas or diesel galas.
Children aged under 16, not accompanied by a paying adult, must pay ½ the price of an adult fare. For example, an all-day Ranger ticket will be £12.50, instead of £25. Please book in person at the station booking office.
Discounts
The railway provides a number of discounted fares for use on our regular services. When booking on line please enter the appropriate code in the ‘Promotional Code’ box before you check out. Please also ensure you carry the correct document to prove that you can use this discount or our ticket inspector might need to charge you the full fare if you don’t (a bit like not having your railcard on the Big railway).
