Platform One Tea Rooms & Cafe at Bedale Station.

With a warm friendly atmosphere you will always be sure of a welcome. Whether you’re looking for a large or small breakfast (available all day) or fancy something from our large, to order sandwich selection including toasted sandwiches, paninis, rolls, baguettes & wraps. Maybe you want to try one of the daily lunchtime specials or our homemade soups with a roll or a scone. It could be you’re after some of our award winning homemade scones and cakes. Our cream teas come with our own homemade jam if desired.

We also have a selection of homemade jams & chutneys made on the premises for sale. You can even sit and have a few drinks while spending some time just playing one of our vast selection of games such as scrabble, trivial pursuit, monopoly to name a few. Dogs are also very welcome at Platform One so long as their owners are well behaved.

We have a wide range of drinks from coffees and Teas to soft drinks and are fully licenced with wines, beers and ciders available.

Cream Teas

Platform Ones coveted Afternoon Teas are a real treat, both the standard or deluxe are for a minimum 2 people and must be pre booked. There is a large choice of hot or cold drinks including wines, beers, Yorkshire tea, fruit teas and coffees of all styles hot & cold.

Picnic Hampers

How about a picnic hamper to have on your train ride from Leeming Bar? Call us on (01677 635343) and it will be ready for you when you arrive at Bedale. We do need 24 hours notice to prepare your picnic hamper.
