Now at the end of its restoration, thanks to a National Lottery Heritage Fund grant, Leeming Bar Station is the hub of the Railway. Its home to the staff offices and engine shed where our locomotives and rolling stock are maintained and restored. Leeming Bar is conveniently located just off the A1, and has 2 pubs and a very handy Co-Op store (with a cash machine) right opposite the station.
The station building also houses our ticket office, so you can buy tickets on the day and the platform has a recently installed MK3 Buffet coach for hot drinks and snacks.
