Summer’s End Tea Train

Celebrate the end of Summer with afternoon tea served on delicate vintage china with unlimited tea & coffee! Your experience will begin with a glass of prosecco upon arrival and then all you need to do is sit back and enjoy a scenic journey through the Yorkshire Dales whilst being served delicious food at your table in one of our heritage carriages!

The heritage diesel-hauled train departs Leeming Bar station on Sunday 22 September at 2.30pm and heads off to Leyburn. The journey lasts around two hours.

Sandwich selection served in soft white & wholemeal bread:

Chunky egg and rocket salad in spiked mayonnaise
Farmhouse ham and mild whole grain mustard dressing
Mature cheddar, spring onion cheese savoury
Cream cheese chive & cucumber ribbons

Local hand raised pork apple & cranberry pie.
Homemade egg bacon, cheese & tomato quiche

Freshly baked sultana scone with strawberry preserve & thick cream

Spiced carrot cake & white chocolate shavings
Forest fruits Eton mess shot glass.

Price £45 per head including lunch and travel. *Prices held from 2023*

Wheelchair Access: Unfortunately, our vintage coaches do not have access for wheelchairs at this stage. If you have mobility constraints, please let us know at the time of booking and we will do our best to allocate a table close to the access door.

Dogs: Please note that dogs (other than assistance dogs) are not allowed in the dining coach.
