Classic Vehicle Rally
Step back in time and enjoy a full day out on our railway with our Classic Vehicle Rally – a celebration of transport from a bygone era.
In conjunction with the Yorkshire Dales Classic Car Club, we’re pleased to announce plans to hold our first classic vehicle rally in May.
At Leeming Bar and Scruton stations, you’ll find vintage vehicles on display, bringing history to life beyond the tracks.
Soak up the atmosphere with live music at Scruton station, creating a relaxed, festive backdrop to your day. When it’s time for a treat, enjoy timeless favourites including fish & chips, ice cream and sandwiches, perfect for a nostalgic day out.
Take the train from Leeming Bar to Scruton to visit all the displays and join us for a perfect nostalgic day out for all ages!
Travel the line on restored heritage trains running all day, allowing you to hop on and off at stations along the route.
We’d suggest that you consider our Ranger train ticket. For just £25, it allows you to travel all-day on our trains. Perfect if you fancy spending the whole day with us and want to enjoy multiple return train trips! And don’t forget, children aged 3-15 travel for just £1 with a paying adult.
Whether you’re a transport enthusiast, a family looking for a great-value day out, or simply in the mood for something different, this event offers heritage, entertainment, and classic food & drink all wrapped up in a memorable railway experience.
