As announced in December 2025, we have received a further donation of ½ mile of track and 6 turnouts (plus signals and signalling equipment) from the former Eggborough power station site in North Yorkshire.
Our specialist rail contractor Lampitt Rail Services is currently removing this material from the site and will arrange onward transportation to Leeming Bar shortly.
Securing this track not only supports our Redmire plans; it also provides valuable materials to meet on-going maintenance needs now, and into the future.
Despite this generous donation of track & materials, we must pay to clear the site and transport everything to our railway. We therefore need your financial support.
