Unfortunately due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, the railway made the dificult descision to suspend all train operations until further notice. We did this to help keep our passengers, staff and volunteer safe and help in the effort to minimise the impact of the CoronaVirus on the population at large. The office is still being manned to keep the railway functioning and until we are told otherwise we will still be working behind the scenes on our rolling stock, infrastructure and locomotives. Regular hand washing for loco fitters and steam crews is a slightly alien concept, but they are getting used to it !
We will be following official advice as to when it is safe to resume regular operations, so keep monitoring this site for details.
